Ramadan is an opportunity for us to appreciate what we have and to think of those who are less fortunate. During the blessed month of Ramadan we fast and are hungry, but for too many people in our communities hunger is something they experience all year round.

Since 2009, the number of foodbanks in Scotland has increased dramatically. During the holy month of Ramadan we are working to support those going hungry in the city.

Just £10 will pay for a food parcel for someone living in poverty in Glasgow. Please donate today by clicking HERE or telephone 0141 423 4242.

Ramadan is a period to show compassion to the poor and the less fortunate in our society. That’s why we have decided to raise money to pay for these parcels to support our brothers and sisters.

The food parcels will provide families with nourishing food supplies, ensuring they will spend their Ramadan not having to worry about food for their Iftar.
