The Sarwar Foundation held a free Hepatitis diagnosis and treatment clinic on the 26th November in the largest residential area of Faisalabad in the Punjab, Pakistan.

At the clinic 95 people were diagnosed as living with Hepatitis B and will now be supplied with free medication to allow them to treat the condition.

Pakistan has a severe Hepatitis B epidemic, with more than 7 million people in Pakistan carrying the disease.

The Sarwar Foundation is taking a stand against Hepatitis, by providing free Hepatitis screenings to hundreds of susceptible people in Punjab.

Just like those diagnosed at the Faisalabad clinic, all patients who test positive for Hepatitis are treated with medication and cared for until a full recovery is made.
