Vice Chair of the Sarwar Foundation, Perveen Sarwar, has distributed certificates to women who have completed their courses at HunarGah skill training centres in Chicawatni.

The foundation has already supported the establishment of more than 150 HunarGah skills training centres for women across the Punjab.

All HunarGahs are installed with the latest equipment and offer a range of training options including dress design and sewing classes, beautician courses, computer skill, jewellery and handicraft courses. Some also offer tutoring to children of the students enrolled at HunarGah centres.

The centres have supported thousands of women into education and training, allowing them to earn independent income and establish their own businesses.

Women in Pakistan make up only 20% of the country’s workforce and training women specific skill sets has the potential to transform their future.

Help the Sarwar Foundation continue this work and establish more HunarGahs across the Punjab by donating today.
