In the UK, more than 14 million people are living in poverty – including 4.5 million children. With increases in unemployment and the reduction in income as a result of the covid pandemic, food poverty and the number of people turning to foodbanks for support has dramatically risen.

During Ramadan, we fast and are hungry for a month, but those in our communities who rely on foodbanks are hungry all year round.

This is why the Sarwar Foundation is proud to be working with foodbanks across the UK this Ramadan, providing them with financial support and Halal food packs.

Ramadan is an opportunity for us to appreciate what we have and to think of those who are less fortunate.

The Sarwar Foundation is working hard to improve the quality of life in communities across the UK and Pakistan, and with your generosity this Ramadan, we can help alleviate hunger and continue to improve lives.

Our work is more vital than ever.

But we can’t do it without the support of our donors, who are responsible for the change that we bring to people. Your donations can provide support to some of the thousands of people who are struggling with food poverty.

Just £25 towards a Ramadan Halal food pack will ensure a family in the UK has food for Ramadan.
