Scots teenagers raise £35,000 to help provide free breakfasts

Teenagers from Glasgow have raised more than £35,000 to help provide free breakfasts to hundreds of children across Scotland.The fundraising drive inspired by footballer Marcus Rashford will be matched by the Magic Breakfast charity, resulting in a total of £70,000 to be spent throughout 2021.The funding is the equivalent cost of providing breakfast provision to support 12 schools in Glasgow and help deliver free breakfasts at other schools in deprived areas across Scotland. Scottish Toybank Appeal launched to deliver Christmas for 2,000 children

A nationwide campaign has been launched to provide Christmas presents for 2,000 children across Scotland struggling during the festive season. Working with Children 1st and Scottish Women’s Aid, the annual Toybank Appeal aims to provide a toy or gift voucher to young people who may otherwise receive nothing at Christmas. Viral Kindness Scotland

A national free helpline in Scotland has been launched as part of a community project involving around 500 convenience stores to help with shopping deliveries and to tackle loneliness. Free eye camp treats hundreds

A free eye camp was held at the Sarwar Foundation’s Rai Ali Nawaz hospital in Chichawatni, in collaboration with LRBT and Islamic Aid. Free hepatitis screening in Faisalabad.

Hepatitis is one of the leading causes of death in Pakistan. The Sarwar Foundation recently hosted a free screening camp in Ghulam Muhammad Abad district of Faisalabad. HunarGah showcase in Lahore

The Sarwar Foundation hosted an exhibition stand at the 7th Pakistan-China Business Forum Industrial Expo showcasing the flagship HunarGah project.
